Sheri Presley began SP CONSCIOUS LIVING in hopes of providing her clients with a more holistic way of approaching health and wellness. The quote from Joseph Pilates which states “Physical fitness is the first requiste of happiness” always resonated with her and through other facets she found there was so much we can do to ensure we are nourished and nurtured from the inside out. It was in 2013 while Sheri was on a trip through Thailand and Indonesia that she first became aware of the immense importance of intentional design and conscious living. Everything seemed to suddenly fall into place when all of her passions- travel, wellness, and design blended seamlessly together. In 2022, Sheri began pursuing a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Interior Design at the Design Institute of San Diego. From there, SP CONSCIOUS LIVING was born out of the commitment to reimagining interior spaces into sanctuaries of wellbeing, sustainability, and conscious living. Sheri’s deep love for travel and interest in spirituality led her around the world to experience various cultures, religion and art through the built environment.
With a background in luxury hospitality, Sheri appreciates the small details that create big impact on user-experience. “Luxury doesn’t always refer to the most expensive materials, but how the design positively engages our senses. A luxury design should create a sense of ease, and effortlessly meets the needs of the user. Materials and trends come and go but true luxury feels timeless, has a certain sense of wonder or romance whenever you step inside.”
As a teacher of Pilates for over 10 years, Sheri believes that the interiors we inhabit contribute to our mental and physical health. She is inspired by natural materials, biophilic principles, and eco-friendly practices and believes each space can have a bigger impact when done with purpose rather than purely aesthetics. Sheri is passionate about starting the conversation on importance of sustainable choices in design, creating interiors that promote harmony with nature and foster a sense of community. Through her work, she aims to inspire others to embrace design as a tool for positive change, nurturing both the environment and the individuals who inhabit these spaces.
